CHANGE IN MANAGEMENT OF NIVEUS

In accordance with paragraph 3.59 of the JSE Limited Listings Requirements, the board of
directors of the Company (“the Board”) wishes to advise that Muriel Loftie-Eaton, has resigned
as chief executive officer of the Company, with effect from 1 August 2018, and that Yunis Shaik
has been appointed as the chief executive officer of the Company with effect from the same date.

Furthermore, shareholders are hereby advised that Carolyn Kristal has resigned as financial
director of the Company, with effect form 1 July 2018, and that Cisco Pereira has been appointed
as financial director of the Company with effect from the same date.

The board welcomes Yunis and Cisco and looks forward to their contribution to the Company.

The board would like to thank Muriel and Carolyn for their valuable contribution to the Company
and wishes them well in their future endeavours.
