NOTIFICATION OF THE VOTING RESULTS IN RESPECT OF THE REQUEST FOR WRITTEN CONSENT OF NOTEHOLDERS RELATING TO THE PROPOSED
AMENDMENT AND RESTATEMENT OF THE APPLICABLE PRICING SUPPLEMENTS PERTAINING TO THE RN2027 AND RN2035 NOTES
Any capitalised terms not defined herein shall have the meanings ascribed thereto in the section of the Republic of
South Africa’s Domestic Multi-Term Note Programme dated 9 September 2019, as updated, supplemented and
amended from time to time (“Programme Memorandum”) headed “Terms and Conditions of the Notes”.
Holders of Floating Rate Notes under series RN2027 and RN2035 (collectively, the “Instruments”) issued under
the Programme Memorandum (“Noteholders”) are referred to the notice of request for written consent published
on SENS on 4 September 2026 (“Notice” or “Consent Request”), relating to the proposed amendment and
restatement of the Applicable Pricing Supplements in respect of the Instruments in order to facilitate the replacement
of the Johannesburg Interbank Average Rate (JIBAR) with the compounded Daily South African Rand Overnight
Index Average (Compounded ZARONIA) as the applicable Reference Rate (the “Benchmark Transition”).
The following Extraordinary Written Resolution was proposed in respect of each Instrument for approval by the
relevant Noteholders, in order to implement the Benchmark Transition:
• Extraordinary Written Resolution – Approve the amendment and restatement of the Applicable Pricing
Supplement.
The National Treasury confirms that the voting results from the Consent Request were as follows:

* The percentages of votes in favour of, against and abstaining from the Extraordinary Written Resolution are
expressed as a percentage of the total value of the relevant Instruments outstanding as at the relevant record date,
in accordance with the requirements applicable to an extraordinary written resolution.
Following the voting results set out above, the Extraordinary Written Resolution was approved by the requisite
majority of Noteholders in respect of each of RN2027 and RN2035.
The final amended and restated Applicable Pricing Supplements in respect of RN2027 and RN2035 are available
