LIQUIDATION APPLICATION

Efora advises shareholders that a liquidation application (“Application”) has been brought against
the Company by Seodi Coal (Pty) Ltd (the “Applicant”) in the High Court of South Africa, Gauteng
Local Division, Johannesburg (the “Court”).

The matter is scheduled to be heard by the Court on Tuesday, 25 August 2026. The Company is
opposing the application.

Shareholders are advised that the Application remains subject to the Court process and no
liquidation order has been granted as at the date of this announcement.

The Company will provide a further update following the Court hearing.
