NOTIFICATION OF AN ACQUISITION OF BENEFICIAL INTEREST IN SECURITIES

In compliance with section 122(3)(b) of the Companies Act, 71 of 2008 (“the Companies Act”)
and Regulation 121(2)(b) of the Companies Act Regulations, 2011, and paragraph 3.83(b) of
the JSE Listings Requirements, shareholders are advised that SA Corporate has received
notification from Catalyst Fund Managers SA (Pty) Ltd (“Catalyst”) of the acquisition by
Catalyst of SA Corporate shares, such that Catalyst now holds 5.17% of SA Corporate’s
issued share capital.

The board of SA Corporate accepts responsibility for the information contained in this
announcement and confirms that, to the best of their knowledge and belief, such information
is true and this announcement does not omit anything likely to affect the importance of such
information included.

As required in terms of section 122(3)(a) of the Companies Act, SA Corporate has filed the
required notice with the Takeover Regulation Panel
